Job summary

BEC Engineering seeks an experienced Electrical Designer and Drafter to join our WA team. You will deliver electrical design and drafting support for mining, materials handling, utilities and infrastructure projects, working directly with engineers to ensure on-time delivery and design quality.

The role involves creating single line diagrams, schematics and termination diagrams, with AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an electrical designer.
• AutoCAD and MicroStation experience on large projects.
• Knowledge of single line diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with substations or power pole/line design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design and drafting support for mining, materials handling, utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Create single line diagrams, schematics and termination diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure on-time delivery of designs.
• Design experience with substations, power poles and lines is an advantage.
