Job summary

RSGx Engineering in Sydney seeks an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to drive delivery across rail, energy, infrastructure and data centres. You will lead electrical and M&E outcomes from concept through delivery, providing technical direction, safety and compliance, and practical, constructible designs.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to business development across RSGx's markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading electrical engineering outcomes across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong technical capability across electrical systems and building/infrastructure interfaces.
• Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience overseeing engineering design, calculations, technical documentation and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering delivery across complex projects, providing technical direction from concept through to delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight across electrical engineering solutions, ensuring outcomes are safe, compliant, practical and fit for purpose.
• Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Provide technical review, assessment and advice to resolve engineering challenges and support successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders, providing trusted technical advice throughout project delivery.
• Lead, mentor and develop engineers and technical team members, supporting capability and professional growth.
• Contribute to business development, client engagement and strategic growth opportunities across RSGx's key markets.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering capability, processes and project delivery across the wider RSGx Engineering team.
