Job summary

RSGx Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to deliver electrical building services layouts and equipment accommodation for major rail and energy projects across NSW and Victoria. You will coordinate with architectural, structural and mechanical teams to produce integrated, buildable designs that meet project specs and timelines.

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 are required.

Qualifications

Design and document electrical building services across power distribution, lighting, essential services and standby power.
Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards and project specifications.
Review and update design documentation to ensure accuracy and coordination.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical building services solutions across power distribution, lighting and essential services.
Prepare and review single-line diagrams, schedules and drawings.
Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
Conduct site inspections to verify conditions and support design development.
