Job summary

People8 is seeking engineers at Intermediate to Principal level to contribute to major substation and network projects in NSW, Australia. You will work on primary substations, HV equipment, and network capital works while developing your technical leadership in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates hold an Electrical Engineering degree with experience in substations and strong communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree with experience Intermediate through to Principal level
• Primary systems, substation design or high-voltage electrical engineering experience highly regarded
• Exposure to HV equipment, switchgear, transformers, busbars, earthing or associated substation systems
• Understanding of electricity networks, engineering standards and safety requirements
• Strong technical communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams
