Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture is seeking an EM Construction Electrical Supervisor to oversee on-site electrical installation activities and coordinate between electromechanical teams and civil works for safe, timely project delivery.

Role requires 5+ years of on-site electrical experience on large construction projects, strong MS Office skills, and proven leadership in a contracting environment. Based in remote, challenging Snowy Mountains areas with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards, incl. installation, testing and commissioning.
• Strong project management capabilities, with ability to meet deadlines in contracting env.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support EM Engineers and Civil Construction Managers in operations and task execution.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in site activities and daily operations.
• Collaborate with trade surveyors to collect quantities and information as required.
• Maintain accurate, organised field notes and daily reports.
• Communicate regularly with EM Site Engineers and EM Subcontractor staff.
• Ensure crews comply with FGJV safety guidelines and provide safety documentation.
• Supervise electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regs.
