Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Building Services team in Adelaide. Based in Adelaide with interstate relocation support, you will lead BIM-enabled digital delivery on large Australian projects, coordinating across Buildings, Defence and Transport sectors.

You will mentor BIM practitioners, develop plans for BIM Execution and information management, and collaborate with global teams to optimise project delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant Building Services BIM and digital delivery experience.
• Advanced Revit capability across Building Services.
• Experience coordinating overseas project delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Experience leading digital delivery on medium to large projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Experience with cloud-based CDEs (Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated mentoring and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Act as BIM Lead on complex Building Services projects, coordinating model planning and production.
• Develop Digital Delivery Plans, BIM Execution Plans and governance processes.
• Coordinate federated models and design interfaces across disciplines.
• Lead model reviews, clash detection workshops, and model-based coordination.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet client and project requirements.
• Support project teams in achieving schedule, quality and commercial objectives.
