Mott MacDonald Australia and New Zealand in Adelaide is seeking a Principal Electrical Digital Designer to lead digital delivery and BIM coordination for major Building Services projects.

You will drive model quality, implement BIM standards, and guide multi-disciplinary teams across Buildings, Defence and Transport sectors.

Qualifications

• Significant Building Services BIM experience.
• Revizto experience required.
• Advanced Revit capability across Building Services.
• Security clearance to Australian Government level essential.
• Experience coordinating overseas delivery teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management.
• Experience with cloud-based Common Data Environments including Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Lead Building Services digital delivery and BIM coordination on major projects across Buildings, Defence and Transport market sectors, with a focus on Electrical Services modelling.
• Promote consistent application of BIM standards, templates, families and workflows.
• Support the development and implementation of national BIM standards and procedures.
• Drive technical excellence in digital design, model quality and information management.
• Act as BIM Lead on complex multi-disciplinary Building Services projects including drawing planning and production.
• Develop Digital Delivery Plans, BIM Execution Plans and model governance processes.
• Coordinate federated models and manage multidisciplinary design interfaces.
• Lead model reviews, clash detection workshops and model-based coordination activities.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring to BIM Designers and developing BIM practitioners.
• Participate in the national Buildings BIM network and promote resource sharing and collaboration between offices.

Mott MacDonald's Building Services team has an exciting opening for a Principal Electrical Digital Designer in the Adelaide office. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia. Based in Adelaide, this role is open to interstate candidates who are ready for an exciting new chapter.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Building Services digital delivery and BIM coordination on major projects across Buildings, Defence and Transport market sectors, with a focus on Electrical Services modelling

About you

• Significant experience in Building Services BIM and digital delivery including Revizto
• Experience in Defence projects preferred, with ability to hold an Australian Government Security Clearance essential
• Advanced Revit capability across Building Services disciplines
• Experience coordinating overseas project delivery teams
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination
• Experience leading digital delivery on medium to large projects
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management principles
• Experience working within cloud-based Common Data Environments including Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated mentoring and leadership capability
