Prestige Contracting Services Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Apprentice (1st–4th year) to join our team in Sydney. You will gain exposure to commercial, industrial, and modular building projects while learning from licensed electricians and skilled tradespeople on diverse site activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Support modular and transportable building fit-outs.
• Assist with switchboards and distribution boards installations.
• Help with lighting and power installations and cable routing.
• Support testing, commissioning and fault finding activities.
• Contribute to general electrical construction work.
• Work alongside licensed electricians to develop skills.

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team.

Prestige Contracting Services works across a range of commercial, industrial and modular building projects, giving our apprentices exposure to much more than basic domestic electrical work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the trade properly, work alongside experienced electricians and build a long-term career with a growing company.

Electrical Apprentice – 1st to 4th Year

About the Role

You will be involved in a variety of electrical works including:

• Commercial and industrial electrical installations

• Modular and transportable building fit-outs

• Switchboards and distribution boards

• Lighting and power installations

• Cable tray, conduit and cable installation

• Submains and mains cabling

• Testing and commissioning

• Fault finding

• General electrical construction work

You will work alongside licensed electricians and experienced tradespeople who will help develop your skills throughout your apprenticeship.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently completing an electrical apprenticeship or looking to commence one

• Has a genuine interest in becoming a qualified electrician

• Is reliable and turns up on time

• Has a good attitude and willingness to learn

• Can work well as part of a team

• Takes pride in their work

• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment

• Holds a current driver's licence or is working towards one

• Has a White Card

Previous electrical or construction experience is an advantage but not essential for the right person.
