Job summary

MEGT is offering a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice role in Silverwater NSW. You will gain hands-on experience, learn under guidance, and work on commercial installations plus EV charger projects. The program emphasizes safety, practical skills, and regional travel as needed.

You will be supported with coaching, a nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechology, and weekly pay while you learn. A company vehicle is provided to support job tasks.

Qualifications

• 1st Year Electrical Apprentices looking to start their career in the electrical industry.
• 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices looking to continue their apprenticeship and build on existing skills.
• Reliable, punctual and motivated with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Positive, team-focused attitude with a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial electrical installations and general electrical maintenance.
• Support electrical work across fuel stations and service station networks.
• Learn hazardous area installations, non-conformance inspections and switchboard compliance inspections/upgrades.
• Assist with EV charger installations, including excavation, trenching and underground work.
• Develop skills in control cabling, programming and instrumentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain high safety standards.
• Travel to metropolitan, regional and interstate locations as required to coordinate trades and support projects.
