Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice (3rd & 4th Year) for a full-time role in a prestigious Sydney CBD commercial building. You’ll work on a single site with mentoring from experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience across diverse electrical systems.

Responsibilities include PPMs, fault finding, lighting upgrades, switchboard work, and thorough reporting, all while developing your technical skills and ensuring work is compliant and safe.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship in a commercial setting.
• White Card holder with a commitment to completing the apprenticeship.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in building services.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Testing and inspection of electrical systems.
• Lighting maintenance and upgrades.
• Emergency and exit lighting testing.
• Switchboard inspections and maintenance.
• Assisting with electrical installations and minor projects.
• Completing maintenance reports and service documentation.
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with regulations.

Electrical Apprentice (3rd & 4th Year) - Commercial Maintenance

Are you a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice looking to further your career within commercial maintenance? We are currently seeking motivated apprentices to join a large on-site maintenance team within a prestigious commercial building. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of electrical systems while working alongside experienced tradespeople in a stable, long-term environment. Working on a single-site location, you'll benefit from consistent mentoring, exposure to complex building services, and excellent career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
