Job summary

Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre in Melbourne VIC is offering an Electrical Apprenticeship with Schneider Electric's Digital Services team. No prior experience required; learn on-site from experienced electricians while working toward a nationally recognised trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Currently completing an Electrical Apprenticeship (UEE30820 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and energy management systems.
• Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance of power distribution equipment.
• Work alongside field service engineers and technicians on customer sites.
• Perform electrical testing, inspections and fault-finding activities.
• Support power quality assessments, energy monitoring and data collection.
• Assist with the maintenance and operation of Schneider Electric digital energy solutions.
• Work with monitoring, automation and energy management platforms, including EcoStruxure technologies.
• Learn how critical electrical infrastructure supports commercial and industrial operations.
• Record service activities, maintenance findings and technical documentation.
• Assist with site audits, inspections and customer support activities.
• Develop a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Gaining exposure to low-voltage and power distribution systems.

The Apprenticeship
If you're currently completing an Electrical Apprenticeship and are looking to develop your skills within a global technology leader, this opportunity is for you.
Working within Schneider Electric's Digital Services team, you'll gain exposure to advanced electrical infrastructure, energy management technologies and digital monitoring solutions used across commercial and industrial environments.

This hands-on apprenticeship provides the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians, engineers and industry specialists while completing your nationally recognised trade qualification.

Some of the skills you will develop include:

• Supporting the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and energy management systems
