Qualifications

• Completion of 2nd year electrical apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification.
• Commitment to completing 3rd year or pursuing further technical development.
• Understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and safe working practices in the electrical trades.
• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008) and electrical safety regulations.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on residential and commercial projects.
• Support electricians in planning and executing work per Australian Standards.
• Perform testing and fault-finding using appropriate equipment.
• Prepare job sites, organise tools and materials, and keep work areas safe and tidy.
• Liaise with site supervisors and clients on requirements and timelines.
• Maintain records of work and time spent on projects.
