Job summary

TJ Electrical Group Pty Ltd is seeking a 2nd-3rd Year Apprentice to join our team in Glenview, QLD. This full-time role provides mentorship from experienced electricians and hands-on experience across residential, commercial and industrial electrical projects.

You will assist with installation, maintenance and fault-finding, attend apprenticeship training, and adhere to safety standards. A valid licence or reliable transport to sites is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or progressing through a recognised electrical apprenticeship programme (2nd-3rd year level).
• Strong understanding of basic electrical principles and installation practices gained from first year of training.
• Valid driver’s licence or reliable transport to Glenview job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified electricians with installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Learning and applying safe working practices and electrical standards on job sites.
• Performing fundamental electrical tasks such as running cables, conduit, outlets and switches under supervision.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Assisting with testing and fault-finding on electrical installations.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order.
• Supporting domestic, commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Attending apprenticeship training courses and theoretical instruction.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety requirements and site protocols.
