Job summary

Stewart Electrical Group in the Sutherland Shire is seeking a hands-on 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice to join our small team on a full-time basis. You will work with qualified tradesmen on new construction, fit-outs, and service work to finish your apprenticeship strong and advance to a tradesman role with us.

You will gain real hands-on experience across rough-in, fit-off, switchboards, testing and commissioning, with guidance from experienced electricians.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice.
• Willing to learn and work across residential construction, commercial fitouts and service work.
• Hands-on experience across rough-in, fit-off, switchboards, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified tradesmen on new construction, fitouts and service work.
• Support rough-in, fit-off, switchboard installations and testing/commissioning.
• Develop skills to progress to a tradesman role within Stewart Electrical Group.

Job description

Stewart Electrical Group is a growing electrical business based in the Sutherland Shire. We work across residential construction, commercial fitouts, aged care, air conditioning and outdoor living projects right across Sydney and into the Southern Highlands. Our team is small, tight and takes real pride in the work we hand over.

The Role

We are looking for a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice to join our team full time. You will be working alongside qualified tradesmen on a mix of new construction, fitout and service work, with the aim of finishing your apprenticeship strong and stepping straight into a tradesman role with us.

This is not a broom and extension lead job. If you show up, have a crack and want to learn, you will get real hands on experience across rough in, fit off, switchboards, testing and commissioning.
