Job summary

SoftLabs invites applications for an EL1 Senior Power Platform Software Engineer (Developer) based in Canberra. The role focuses on leading software delivery, building robust solutions across Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform, including Power Pages.

Qualifications

• Experience developing solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Strong full-stack development skills with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services using modern APIs.
• Knowledge of Azure and Power Platform integration technologies.

EL1 Senior Power Platform Software Engineer (Developer)

• Security Requirements: Must have Baseline security clearance
  
• Working Arrangements: HybridFlexible in office/WfH but ACT staff are strongly preferred.

Job details

Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects,writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of softwareengineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of thesoftware produced by their team.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Applicants should understand the Department's business and ourmission.
• The IT Project teams are small resource groups workingclosely with business teams, so ability to perform cohesively in this space iskey.
• This role is Canberra based. TheDepartmentwill consider options forcandidates to work outside of ACT however Canberra staff are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing solutions using MicrosoftDynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
  
• Strong full-stack development skills, including experiencewith C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, and integrating front-end applicationswith backend services.
  
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integrationtechnologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and PowerAutomate.
  
• Experience working with established applicationarchitectures, development patterns and reusable components, including AzureDevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills,with demonstrated experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinarydelivery teams.
• Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies,such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-basedsolutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform,Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will be highly regarded.
