Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an experienced EHS Lead for ACT & NSW based in Fairbairn, ACT. This hands-on leadership role will steer safety, health and wellbeing across multiple sites, with weekly travel to the Symonston office and periodic travel to other ACT/NSW sites.

You’ll empower teams, embed the EHS strategy and drive proactive risk management. You will lead an EHS team, partner with leaders, conduct investigations, audits and wellbeing initiatives, and ensure compliance with WHS

Qualifications

• Diploma in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in health and safety within relevant sectors.
• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001/14001/9001.
• Incident investigation and wellbeing program experience.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Defence security clearance (NV1).

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and develop a small EHS team.
• Partner with leaders to identify hazards and manage risks.
• Lead investigations, audits and improvement initiatives.
• Interpret WHS and environmental requirements and support implementation.
• Develop and deliver health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support injury management and return-to-work activities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and authorities.
• Travel to program sites across ACT & NSW as required.
