Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to join a fast-moving defence-focused team. The role partners with leaders, employees and contractors to drive health, safety and environmental outcomes while supporting risk management, compliance and continuous improvement across diverse programs.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
• ICAM Lead Investigator experience.
• Construction White Card.
• C class driver's license.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain baseline security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including WHS representatives and sub-contractors.
• Achieve and maintain compliance with the WHS Act 2011 and jurisdictional requirements.
• Conduct health and safety assessments (risk assessments, JSA, ergonomic, manual handling, hazardous substances).
• Collaborate with site leaders to address EH&S issues, investigate incidents, and determine corrective actions.
• Contribute to policies, plans, procedures and high-quality reporting and records management.
• Promote and coordinate engagement to deliver the EHS Plan.
• Travel may be required to fulfil the role.
