Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare's St Peter’s OSHC is seeking an Educator to foster a welcoming learning environment for children and families. You will support learning, development, and wellbeing, plan engaging activities, and work within a collaborative team to deliver high-quality care.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, possess a Blue Card, and are committed to inclusive, positive child development with strong communication skills and creativity.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
  • Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
  • First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to complete.
  • Knowledge of NQS/NQF or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive, caring and inclusive approach to working with children.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging activities and experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

St Peter’s OSHC is looking for a motivated, professional and enthusiastic Educator to join our team. If you enjoy building positive relationships with children, creating engaging experiences and working collaboratively with a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role As an Educator, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for children and families while supporting their learning, development and wellbeing
Key Responsibilities

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.

You will ideally have:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain one
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to complete
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and National Quality Framework (NQF), or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, caring and inclusive approach to working with children
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging activities and experiences
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and positive experiences for children and families
