Job summary

YMCA Peak Crossing Outside School Hours Care is seeking energetic Educators to join our team on a casual basis. You will supervise and engage primary-aged children before and after school, and during school holidays, delivering a mix of structured and play-based activities in a welcoming space.

We value fun, energy and creativity, with a focus on safety and inclusion. You’ll work within a not-for-profit setting that supports coaching, training and professional development for Educators.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with activities during Vacation Care
• Create an welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and inspired
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play

About The Role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Peak Crossing Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
