Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking a casual Educator to join our OSHC service in the Pakenham North region. You’ll support children before and after school with engaging activities, build relationships with families and schools, and contribute to a warm, inclusive program.

Shifts run Monday to Friday 7-9am and 2:45-6:00pm, with extra hours in school holidays. A VIC Diploma-level qualification is preferred or you can be working towards it; police checks are required.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
• State working-with-children check.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

Responsibilities

• Work OSHC casual educator shifts at the Pakenham North service.
• Build relationships with families, children, the team and the school community.
• Support nearby services across the region when required.
• Engage children with fun, educational activities during before/after school hours.

As an OSHC Casual Educator, you’ll work primarily at our service in the Pakenham North region, giving you the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts: work regular shifts Monday through Friday before school 7-9am shift and after school 2:45 - 6:00pm shift. Extra hours available during school holidays too!
