Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking an OSHC Casual Educator to work primarily at The Patch service, building ongoing relationships with families, children, and the school community. You may assist nearby services occasionally.

Shifts run Monday to Friday before school 7:00–9:00 am and after school 3:00–6:00 pm, with extra hours during school holidays. Minimum commitment is 3x mornings and 3x afternoons per week.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover).
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• VIC Diploma-Level Educator qualification or progress per ACECQA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily at The Patch service building relationships with families, children, and school communities.
• Support nearby services across the region as needed.
• Deliver OSHC care during before/after school shifts (7:00–9:00 am and 3:00–6:00 pm).
• Commit to minimum availability: 3 mornings and 3 afternoons per week.
• Participate in background checks and uphold child safety principles.

Job Description

As an OSHC Casual Educator, you’ll work primarily at The Patch service giving you the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts: work regular shifts Monday through Friday before school 7:00 - 9:00 am shift and after school 3:00 - 6:00PM shift. Extra hours available during school holidays too! Minimum availability required for this position is 3x mornings and 3x afternoons per week.
