Job summary

Kool Beanz Sunshine Southport is hiring an Assistant Educator to join our unique centre with a strong focus on nature, creativity and child-led discovery. You will work with a team to implement EYLF-based programs and support lively learning experiences.

Qualifications include a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, with First Aid/CPR and Blue Card. Grow professionally in a supportive, family-oriented setting on the Gold Coast.

We are looking for an Assistant Educator either Certificate III or Diploma qualified or working towards obtaining a qualification to be a part of the Kool Beanz family.

The Role

• Supporting a team of educators to implement programs, follow the EYLF and share the excitement of child-led discovery.
• Creating long-lasting connections and partnerships with your local community, schools, and families.
• Supporting the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards

About You

• Certificate III / Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or working towards the qualification.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates.
• Paid working with children check (Blue Card).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks/workload.
• Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking.
• Enthusiastic, positive, fun and outgoing attitude.
• Approachable and friendly with a demonstrated passion for early education.
• An understanding of EYLF.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships.

Working Hours

You must be available to work within the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday - Friday.
