Job summary

Kool Beanz Academy on the Gold Coast is seeking an Assistant Educator who is Cert III or actively working toward this qualification to support children's learning and development. You will assist Lead Educators, engage in EYLF activities, and help create a warm, safe learning environment.

Hours are Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:30pm, with 5 days per week preferred. The role offers a family-owned, supportive team and opportunities for growth, plus employee referral incentives and staff

Qualifications

• Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working toward this qualification.
• First Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Paid working with children check (blue Card).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic, friendly and professional.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Educators to implement programs and EYLF.
• Build long-lasting connections with the local community, schools and families.
• Support the Centre to meet/exceed the National Quality Standards.

Kool Beanz SUNS Carrara, part of the esteemed Kool Beanz Academy, stands as a testament to over 16 years of excellence in the childcare industry. Known for delivering high-quality, safe, and child-centered services, our Carrara location is situated at The SUNS Peoples First Stadium on the Gold Coast.

With a capacity for 189 enrolments, including 22 spaces tailored for children requiring extra support, Kool Beanz SUNS Carrara is at the forefront of progressive childcare.

We are currently seeking a passionateAssistant Educator, who is a minimum of Cert III qualified or actively working towards their qualification. We are looking for an educator who can bring creativity, flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development. We value educator who are aligned with our philosophy and are passionate about meeting the individual development needs of every child.

Qualifications and Qualities:

• Cert 3 / Diploma qualified Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification. Not looking for Graduate Diploma or Bachelor qualified educators at this time.

Working hours:

You must be available to work within the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday - Friday, preferable able to work 5 days per week.
