Job summary

The Y Australia is recruiting casual Educators for Grovely Outside School Hours Care in Queensland. You will supervise and engage primary-aged children before and after school and during holidays, creating a safe, inclusive, and fun environment that supports social learning and creativity.

Qualifications

• Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or actively studying
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
• Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

What you’ll do

What you’ll bring

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar
• A great sense of fun, energy and creativity
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
