Job summary

Y Community School in Victoria is opening a brand-new junior campus for year 7–9 in January 2027. We seek teachers who thrive on connection, flexibility and purpose, and who will help build a culture where students can grow academically and personally.

This full-time role welcomes both primary and secondary teachers and offers supportive leadership, smaller class sizes and wellbeing-focused arrangements to sustain a rewarding, long-term career in education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education (primary or secondary).
• Current VIT Registration as a classroom teacher.
• National Police Check completed in the last 6 months (or willing to obtain).
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) (or willing to obtain).
• Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum will be highly regarded but is not essential.
• Experience designing and delivering individualised learning programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills including self-awareness, self-management and awareness of others in communication and problem solving.
