Job summary

Canterbury College is seeking a Diploma Educator for our Early Learning Centre in Logan, northern Gold Coast, the Scenic Rim and southern Brisbane. This is a permanent part-time role with up to 37 hours.

The educator will support teaching staff, assist with student learning, and maintain a well-presented learning environment. The role reports to the Director of Early Learning and requires Blue Card, Diploma of Early Childhood Education, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, and Gecko

Qualifications

• Blue Card (Paid) required.
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education required.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training required.
• Gecko Child Safety Training is required.

Diploma Educator - Early Learning Centre

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate Educator for our Early Learning Centre in Early Childhood. This is a permanentpart-time role with up to 37 hours.

TheEarly Childhood Educatorprovides practical support to teaching staff byassistingwith student learning, completing routine administrative tasks, andmaintaininga well-presented learning environment. This includes organising resources and ensuring materials and equipment are appropriatelymaintained.

Key Responsibilities:

The Early Childhood Educator works closely with the other Educators and the Early Childhood Teachers and reports to the Director of Early Learning for all day to day duties and responsibilities. Early Childhood Educators are responsible and accountable for their own work which is performed within established guidelines using some discretion and is subject only to general supervision.
