Job summary

Canterbury College is seeking a passionate Diploma Educator for our Early Learning Centre on a casual contract. You will support teaching staff by assisting with student learning, maintaining a well-presented learning environment and organizing resources.

Reporting to the Director of Early Learning, you will contribute to observations, communicate with parents and staff, supervise children, and assist with excursions and daily operations while ensuring safety and engagement.

Qualifications

• Current Blue Card (Paid) required.
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certifications.
• Gecko Child Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development
• Assist with classroom and learning program delivery
• Provide student supervision and wellbeing support
• Prepare resources and complete administrative tasks
• Communicate with parents, teachers and ELC staff
• Contribute to observations and documentation
• Assist with excursions, events and daily operations
• Maintain a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment
