Job summary

Goodstart East Perth is seeking an energetic Educator to join our 70-place centre at 3 Nelson Avenue, East Perth. You’ll collaborate with Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to craft engaging learning programs across age groups, ensuring safety and inclusivity for every child.

This permanent full-time role offers 38 hours per week, with pay at $39.91 per hour plus superannuation and benefits, plus generous leave and discounts within a supportive, reconciliation-focused team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Current WA Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed viaGecckoplatform.

Responsibilities

• As an Educator, contribute to exceptional learning programs for children with Senior Educators and the Educational Leader.
• Support safety and inclusivity to ensure every child thrives and feels valued.
• Work across the service supporting different age groups in a flexible roster.

Prime Location – We’re located at 3 Nelson Avenue, East Perth, just minutes from Perth city! Perfect for a pre-shift coffee or quick city errand. We’re well-connected, with bus access nearby, and offer free onsite parking—making commuting convenient no matter how you travel.

Centre Overview – We are a 70-place centre with a warm, community feel. While this role is not attached to a specific room, you’ll be working across the service and supporting different age groups—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and flexibility in their day!

Flexible Roster – Our centre operates on a rotational shift pattern, offering flexibility and balance. Programming time is scheduled into the rotation, ensuring educators have the time and space to plan thoughtfully and reflectively.
