Job summary

Busy Bees Tuggerah is seeking a passionate Educator (Full-Time) to support play-based learning under EYLF and help children thrive in our Tuggerah centre at Westfield Shoppingtown. You will join a supportive team and contribute to high-quality education and care.

You will hold qualifications in Early Childhood Education, current First Aid/CPR, and NSW WWCC, with strong communication and collaboration across staff and families to deliver the Busy Bees experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Provide a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team.
• Support daily routines, activities and supervision.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with NQS.

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Tuggerah, located at Shop CC1 Westfield Shoppingtown, Cobbs Road, Tuggerah NSW 2259, on a full-time basis. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and care, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for NSW
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
• Employment is conditional on satisfactory, rigorous pre-employment checks (including WWCC, ID, Qualifications, Gecko Training, Work Rights, NQAITS register/Prohibited Persons & References) and child safety training, reflecting our strong commitment to safeguarding, equity, diversity and inclusion
