Job summary

Edge Early Learning in Cairns is seeking an experienced Educational Leader to oversee planning and evaluation of programs across the service. You will mentor and supervise team members, uphold the Early Childhood Code of Ethics, and collaborate with families to ensure a safe, high-quality learning environment.

You will bring a Diploma in Children's Services or higher, strong knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework, and current Working with Children checks, CPR/First Aid, and relevant

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services (or recognised equivalent).
• Understanding of Early Childhood Developmental Principles incl. EYLF.
• Anaphylaxis & Asthma management certificate preferred.
• First Aid with CPR current.
• Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to providing an integrated early childhood service that supports both the care and education of children, while leading the planning and evaluation of programs and providing guidance, mentoring, and supervision to team members. It requires upholding the Early Childhood Code of Ethics, ensuring a safe and high quality learning environment, and working collaboratively with team members and families to maintain consistency of practice and drive continuous improvement across the service.
