Job summary

YMCA NSW is seeking a Casual OSHC Educator for our Bexley/Carlton service. You will create a welcoming, fun and safe environment for children aged 5-12, leading activities, supporting learning and helping children build confidence.

Join a supportive team with flexible shifts, ongoing training and opportunities to contribute to high-quality after-school programs. Previous OSHC experience is valued, with a focus on inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Education Support, Early Childhood Education & Care, or related qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with school-aged children is highly regarded but not essential
• Current Working With Children Check
• First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Understanding of child development and inclusive practices
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children from diverse backgrounds

Join our friendly Bexley OSHC team and help create fun, safe and engaging experiences where children can learn, grow and thrive outside the classroom.

About the Role

As a Casual OSHC Educator at our Bexley/Carlton service, you'll help create a welcoming, fun and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive before and after school. No two days are the same. You'll bring your energy, creativity and enthusiasm to every shift, helping children build confidence, develop new skills and make meaningful connections.

Whether you're leading a game, supporting homework, running a craft activity or simply being a positive role model, you'll play an important part in making every session a great experience for the children in our care.

What You'll Be Doing
