Job summary

YMCA Queensland is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Leader to join the Sandgate Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You will shape engaging programs, guide educators, and ensure kids feel safe and included.

With a Diploma in Children’s Services and 3+ years in Early Childhood, you will coach staff, promote child-centred play, and collaborate with families and partners while maintaining high care standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (desirable).
• Minimum three years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of child development and evidence-based practices.
