Job summary

My Best Me Early Learning Academy is seeking an Educational Leader to shape our centre’s educational philosophy and practice. You’ll guide educators to deliver high‑quality, play‑based learning aligned with EYLF and NQS.

You will lead curriculum planning, mentor teams, and collaborate with the Director to drive educational outcomes across the centre. This role offers a supportive, development‑oriented environment and opportunities for leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma (ACECQA approved) is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS; ability to mentor staff.

About the Role:

As our Educational Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our centre's educational philosophy and practices. You'll guide and mentor educators to deliver high-quality, play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support curriculum planning, documentation, and reflective practices

• Mentor and coach educators to foster professional growth and innovation

• Collaborate with the Centre Director and team to achieve educational goals

• Champion inclusion, diversity, and positive learning outcomes for all children

• Monitor and enhance the quality of programs through regular assessments

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma qualified (ACECQA approved)

• At least 2 years of experience in an early childhood setting with demonstrated leadership

• Previous experience in a formal Educational Leader role or team leadership position is required

• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child development

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• A passion for inspiring others and building strong, collaborative teams

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Australian work authorisation is required for this position
