Happy Hearts Childcare & Kindergarten in Richlands, QLD is seeking an Educational Leader to inspire excellence across our team of early childhood professionals.

Lead curriculum development and quality practice while mentoring educators, fostering a supportive culture, and ensuring positive outcomes for children and families in our centre.

You will collaborate with families, implement wellbeing initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across all rooms to uphold our high standards.

Qualifications

• Blue Card required.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training.
• Child Protection Training.
• Completed Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Available 5 days, Monday - Friday between 6:30am and 6:30pm.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Educational Leader who is ready to inspire, support and mentor our amazing team of early childhood professionals.

Desired Skills

We are looking for people who meet the following criteria:

• You must have a warm and inviting personality that makes every child feel welcomed

• You must be able to laugh and show extreme interest in jokes/things you don’t understand

• You would preferably have a great sense of imagination, able to change on a daily basis from the captain of a pirate ship to the head keeper of a zoo to a shop attendant!

• You are not afraid to show off your out of tune singing abilities in front of a crowd

• You are not squeamish when talking about bodily functions and fluids and are confident in announcing when you are going to the toilet

• You must have amazing acting skills, like pretending to eat the handmade playdough cupcake or delicious mud pie you’ve just been handed.

• Generally willing to have plenty of fun!

• You must want to be welcomed as a loved and important extended family member to the children and parents that pass through our doors.

• You must be confident to work in a large team environment and listen to the ideas of others while encouraging growth within the team.
