Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School Sunbury in Sunbury VIC is inviting applications from a qualified Education Support Officer (ESO) to join a team dedicated to learning experiences that challenge children to reach their personal best. The successful applicant will work under a teacher with individual and small group sessions, both inside and outside the classroom to assist with educational and development programs.

The position is 27.5 hours per week over 5 days, 8:30am to 3:00pm.

Qualifications

• Supports learning under direction of a teacher.
• Experience with students with diverse needs, including ASD.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual and small group learning within and outside the classroom.
• Provide First Aid and yard duty support as required.
• Support active involvement in extra-curricular activities and school community.
