Job summary

Xavier College is seeking dedicated Education Support Officers (ESO) – Curriculum for the Brand new Riverlea Park campus. This permanent, part-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8.45am–3.00pm across a 40-week school year, commencing January 2027.

You will support teachers and students, fostering an inclusive learning environment within the Catholic ethos. Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent, with demonstrated ability to assist in literacy, numeracy and other

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent
• Proven ability to support students across learning areas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually and in small groups under teacher direction
• Assist teachers with structured learning programs using prepared resources
• Support students with additional needs according to Personalised Plans for Learning
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Assist with supervision during excursions, events, and yard duty
• Build positive relationships with students, families and the College community
• Assist students with additional needs including personal care when required
• Support classroom operations and materials preparation
