TAFE NSW External seeks an Education Support Officer (ESO) in the Ageing and Disability stream to assist students with learning needs. You will provide tutoring and guidance, working alongside teachers to support engagement and progress.
In this role you will maintain records, assist with administrative duties, and help create an inclusive classroom environment. Training and flexible options are provided to support your professional growth.

Permanent Part Time – 21 hours per week
$96,098 salary package - includes base salary $84,666, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

Join our team as an Education Support Officer (ESO) - Ageing and Disability and play a key role in supporting student success. Working closely with Teachers and Head Teachers, you will provide tutoring and learning assistance to students undertaking studies in the Ageing and Disability sector.
In this rewarding role, you will draw on your industry knowledge and experience to encourage student engagement, build learner confidence, and help students develop the skills and understanding needed to progress through their studies. You will provide guidance and encouragement through a variety of channels, including face‑to‑face, online, phone and email interactions, helping learners stay motivated and achieve their educational goals.
You will also work collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain student records and support a range of administrative and compliance activities. This is a student‑focused position that contributes to a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Please note: This role does not involve delivering training, assessing students, or developing learning resources.
You are passionate about supporting others to learn and succeed. With experience in Ageing, Disability, or Community Services, you bring current industry knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently.
