About the Role

Reporting to the Course/Education Support Team Leader within Macquarie Business School, you will provide operational and administrative support that enhances the quality of course delivery and the student experience. Depending on the Business School’s needs, you may support a single course, a collection of courses, or a department.

  • Providing advice and support to Course Directors, Discipline Chairs, Heads of School or Department and Unit Convenors on all matters related to the delivery and administration of courses and units.
  • Coordinating operational and administrative support across the lifecycle of a course to enhance delivery and the student experience.
  • Contributing to and coordinating annual planning, communication of key milestones, and the development of resources such as Study Plans and Course Guides.
  • Coordinating the preparation and delivery of assessments, along with moderation, result ratification, and grade administration.
  • Delivering course-specific orientation and onboarding activities in partnership with the Faculty Student Experience team.
  • Providing administrative and secretarial support for course‑specific meetings, including industry advisory boards, and progressing actions arising.
  • Advising timetabling teams to coordinate class registration and management, with a focus on course‑level timetabling.
  • Acting as a liaison point for teaching staff, including coordinating guest lecturers, external experts and sessional staff.
  • Partnering across the University to identify and implement improvements to student administration processes, and to help resolve complex student lifecycle enquiries and cases.
