Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a proactive VPS4 Project Advisor in the Curriculum and Teaching Practice Division to provide administrative, project and contract management support for key assessment initiatives, including the Year 1 Numeracy Check and Progressive Achievement Tests in Mathematics and Reading.

The successful candidate will support the operation of the Digital Assessment Tools Unit, liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and maintain accurate

Qualifications

• Experience in project and contract management within a government or public sector context.
• Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project and contract management, including monitoring deliverables and processing invoices.
• Contribute to advice to support senior executive decision making.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and ensure timely delivery.
• Gain procurement and evaluation experience.
• Maintain accurate project, contract and administrative records.
• Undertake general administrative duties as required.
