Job summary

Melton Christian College is seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our Finance & Risk Team. You will manage end-to-end payroll, maintain records, and ensure compliance while supporting staff across our Christian community.

The successful candidate will have end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in education, with qualifications in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Prior experience with ELMO is desirable and a commitment to confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll experience, preferably in education.
• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation, awards interpretation, taxation and superannuation.
• Experience with ELMO payroll software is desirable.
• High accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain payroll records and employee data.
• Ensure compliance with awards, legislation and superannuation.
• Prepare payroll reporting, reconcilations and audits.
• Support salary budgeting and workforce reporting.
• Advise staff on payroll processes and entitlements.
