Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Senior Education Support and Project Officer to lead educational administration and strategic projects on the Darlington Campus within the Faculty of Engineering’s School of Computer Science. The role offers a fixed-term, full-time appointment with a base salary aligned to HEO 7 plus 17% superannuation.

You will manage operations, reporting and compliance, shape student experiences, and work across teams to deliver high-quality education support initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in education administration.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and education administration.
• Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
• Proven ability to work in teams and across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee key semester operations including examinations and results processing.
• Deliver clear communications and documentation to staff, students and stakeholders.
• Enhance education processes using feedback for continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration across the Faculty, central units and Education Support Officers.
• Provide senior administrative support with policy interpretation and guidance.
• Coordinate and contribute to strategic initiatives across the school.
• Ensure compliance and integrity by delivering timely reports.
• Provide supervision, coaching and development for the Education Support team.
