Job summary

Chisholm Institute is seeking an experienced Education Manager for the Education Programs Teaching Department on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2027. The role leads delivery of high-quality teaching in Early Childhood Education and collaborates with managers to drive growth and industry-aligned programs.

You will oversee teaching teams, timetabling, curriculum delivery, and quality assurance while ensuring compliance and strong industry partnerships.

Qualifications

• Adult Teaching qualification (AQF5/6 or higher)
• TAE40122 or equivalent meeting Standards for RTOs 2025
• Vocational qualifications relevant to Early Childhood
• Registration with relevant professional bodies for the teaching discipline
• Record of Vocational Competency mapped to Units of Competency
• Record of Professional Currency in teaching/industry

Responsibilities

• Plan education practices and delivery sessions to engage learners
• Lead and manage teaching teams including workforce planning and performance management
• Coordinate educational operations including timetabling and workload planning
• Drive student success, retention and wellbeing through targeted support
• Oversee curriculum design, delivery and continuous improvement of vocational programs
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation and policy compliance
• Build partnerships with industry, schools and community stakeholders
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment free from discrimination
