Job summary

Chisholm Institute of TAFE – Frankston, VIC seeks an experienced Education Manager to lead the Education Programs Teaching Department on a fixed term contract until 31 December 2027. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching, coordinating education operations, and driving strategic growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and industry relevance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading education programs and teams in an RTO/TAFE context.
• Ability to plan and oversee teaching delivery, assessments and curriculum development.
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory, accreditation and child-safe standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead teaching teams: workforce planning, performance management, recruitment and mentoring.
• Coordinate timetabling, workloads, resources, assessments and student progress monitoring.
• Drive student success, engagement and employability through targeted support.
• Oversee curriculum, assessments and learning resources for vocational programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance across programs.
• Build partnerships with industry, schools and employers to maintain relevance.
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, safe environment free from discrimination.
