Job summary

Deakin Alumni in Melbourne seeks a Lecturer, Education-Focused, to lead unit teaching teams across undergraduate and postgraduate health promotion programs, shaping curricula and learning resources to enhance student outcomes.

You will translate industry and clinical practice into learning experiences, drive pedagogy research, and strengthen ties with the health sector through teaching, learning and employability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification or near completion in a relevant field.
• Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs.
• Ability to contribute to innovative curriculum design.
• Capacity to contribute to health-related research through publications and/or external grants.
• Ability to lead teaching programs and collaborate with industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit teaching teams across undergraduate and postgraduate health promotion programs.
• Design and deliver high-quality scholarly and educational activities that enhance teaching practice and student success.
• Strengthen engagement with the health sector through teaching, learning and community partnerships.
