Job summary
Deakin University is seeking a Lecturer in Health Promotion, Education-Focused to lead unit teaching teams across undergraduate and postgraduate health promotion programs, designing innovative curricula and contributing to student success and employability. You'll advance pedagogy research, deliver learner-centred teaching, and contribute to scholarship of teaching and educational development,
Qualifications
- PhD or near completion in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation.
- Strong record of scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.
- Capacity to design innovative curricula and contribute to teaching practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead unit teaching teams and develop effective curricula and learning resources.
- Review units and courses and implement refinements.
- Apply industry, clinical and research practices to student learning experiences.
- Deliver learner-centred, research-informed teaching across delivery modes.
- Contribute to pedagogy research projects and teaching scholarship.
