Castlereagh School is a specialist Education Support School for students K-12 with disability and high support needs. Castlereagh's staff motivate learning in children and young adults aged four to 18 in a vibrant, nurturing, educational environment. Whilst we foster academic skills through the Western Australian & ABLEWA Curriculums, we place great value on communication, connection, belonging, predictability and engagement. We regard every student to be an individual with their unique strengths, needs and learning preferences. Our students have diverse communication needs and seek alternative access to curricula and post school learning opportunities. Their needs are provided for with a well-balanced educational experience with a literacy, numeracy, communications and independence focus. Communication underpins everything we do, and we take great pride in seeing every student blossom. Find out more about our school by visiting castlereaghschool.wa.edu.au or Schools Online.

Ideally, suitable applicants should be committed to enhancing students' learning opportunities through ongoing reflective classroom practice as well as plan and engage in professional learning opportunities which includes collaboration with colleagues. The ideal applicants would have demonstrated experience working in Education Support Settings and with students with diverse behaviour needs.
