Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking an Education and Training Advisor on a full-time, continuing basis located at Camperdown Campus. You will plan, develop, deliver and maintain compliance and capability learning content for casual academic staff, applying adult learning principles.

You will work with stakeholders, design strategic training solutions, and use AI-assisted education design to improve learner experience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Learning Design or equivalent.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups and building relationships.
• Experience in analysing and reporting data for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with e-learning tools, especially the Articulate suite.
• Experience developing compliance-related e-learning content.
• Experience in organisations with regulatory compliance and monitoring.
• Experience managing projects from design to delivery.
• Exposure to Change frameworks and methodologies.
• Background in training development with HR practices.

Responsibilities

• design and develop training resources for University professional and academic staff to uplift knowledge and capability.
• conduct hybrid education and/or training sessions with target audience groups on EA obligations and compliance including the tools available in the university to manage compliance.
• build and maintain professional relationships through effective communication and engagement capability.
• monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and quality of the training programs and communications strategies to ensure they are fit for purpose and lead to increased engagement and compliance.
• maintain knowledge of current trends in educational technology to assist with updating training material, including the integrated use of innovative AI to support education design.
