Qualifications

• Experience in academic development and supporting educators' teaching practice
• Ability to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams on strategic university projects
• High-level oral and written communication to design, implement and evaluate teaching initiatives
• Passion for university teaching and academic development excellence
• Expertise in the use of technology to enhance tertiary teaching
• Fellowship of HEA or higher is desirable
• PhD or postgraduate qualifications in Higher Education or similar are desirable

Responsibilities

• Contribute to assurance of learning initiatives within the Academic Development team
• Develop professional development courses for educators focusing on feedback and assessment
• Apply scholarship and knowledge of contemporary pedagogy to educational innovation
• Develop innovative teaching and learning practices to improve educational outcomes
• Demonstrate impact through improved student outcomes, experiences and learning
