Job summary

Compass is seeking a Customer Success Consultant in Australia to partner with school leadership, shape success plans, drive product adoption, and unlock value from the Compass ecosystem. You will own the end-to-end consulting experience for a portfolio of schools, lead implementations and renewals, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

This role influences retention, partnership maturity and growth across our network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Consultant or equivalent customer facing role.
• Strong understanding of the Australian school environment, or ability to rapidly build deep domain knowledge in complex, regulated sectors.
• Strong prioritisation and triage judgement, you can work out what's urgent across a large book without waiting to be told.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable across school stakeholders from business managers to executives.
• Strong organisational skills and self-management, with the confidence to operate independently.
• Commercial awareness and a clear focus on retention and growth outcomes, not just satisfaction.
• Genuine AI fluency, demonstrated how you work day to day
• Comprehensive knowledge and confidence utilizing the Compass platform.
• Experience in education, (Primary or Secondary teaching, school operations, or EdTech customer facing roles).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end consulting experience for a portfolio of schools, from implementation, training and ongoing partnership
• Lead complex implementations across the Compass product suite, including module adoption and partner integrations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior school stakeholders and act as their primary contact on all things Compass
• Drive advocacy and reference-ability across your portfolio, positioning Compass as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.
• Use Compass adoption and usage data to shape success plans, surface risk and lead EBR conversations in evidence.
• Partner with Sales and Product to identify and shape opportunities for schools to expand their use of Compass
• Represent the voice of your schools internally to influence product, process and service improvements.
• Anticipate risks and act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive matters within your schools.
• Own renewal conversations across your schools, with a clear focus on retention outcomes.
