Job summary

Praetorian Aeronautics in Australia is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to own how we build, deploy, and run technology across the company. You’ll manage pipelines, networks, and internal tooling to support embedded hardware from lab to field.

You will work with autonomy, robotics, and production teams to ensure deployment is reliable, repeatable and secure, including edge and disconnected environments in the field.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on with on-prem or edge infrastructure near hardware.
• Proficient Linux systems administration, networking and server infra.
• Experience with containerisation and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software deployed to embedded hardware.
• Design and run company infrastructure, including servers and networks.
• Improve loading, versioning and tracking of software/firmware on hardware.
• Set up monitoring, logging and observability across lab, production and field.
• Build infrastructure for edge and air-gapped environments with security in mind.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive cross-team improvements.
